METHOD
Dough
In a large bowl, cream 100 g of softened butter with 100 g of sugar, 100 g of brown sugar, the egg and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
Sift 180 g of flour, 1 tsp of baking powder and ½ tsp of salt into the wet mixture and mix gently until combined. Chop 170 g of dark chocolate into chunks (or use chips) and fold them into the dough.
Shaping
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide the dough into 14 equal portions (50 g each) and roll them into balls. Place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Baking
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 8–10 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
