1. Subject of the Agreement

These Terms govern access to the interactive functionality of the Platform, including the use of the user account, macro calculator, measurement converters, and ingredient recalculations. Registering an account constitutes the user's unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

2. User Account

The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and the security of account access. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a violation of the terms of use.

3. Intellectual Property

All materials posted on the Platform, including but not limited to: recipe texts, photographs, visual design, databases, and source code (including calculator algorithms), are the exclusive intellectual property of their creator — Anna Cherniy.

Any copying, reproduction, web scraping, distribution, or commercial use of materials without prior written permission from the copyright holder is strictly prohibited and punishable by law.

4. Provision of Services "As Is" and Limitation of Liability

The Platform and all its services are provided on an "as is" basis. The Administrator makes no express or implied warranties that the Platform will meet the user's individual requirements or operate continuously, quickly, and error-free.

5. AI assistant

Signed-in users can ask the AI assistant questions about baking, recipes and ingredients.

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate or wrong and are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or other professional.
The assistant cannot guarantee that an ingredient or recipe is safe for people with allergies. Always check the ingredients on the package; if you have a severe allergy, consult a doctor.
Price: 1 credit covers 5 text messages; a message with a photo costs 1 credit. Credits are charged before the answer. If no answer arrives because of a technical failure, the charge is returned. A message unrelated to the site’s topic counts as used: the assistant does not answer it, and the charge is not returned.
Do not send the assistant other people’s personal data, photos of people, or material you have no rights to. The assistant only answers questions related to the site’s topic.
We may limit the number of messages to protect the service from abuse.

EXTENDED DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

1. Inaccuracy of Macro Calculations and Measurement Conversions

All automatic calculations provided by the Platform, including calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates (macros) per 100g and per serving, gelatin calculator, as well as the results of volume conversions (grams, cups, tablespoons/teaspoons, pieces) and proportion recalculations for mold size, are strictly approximate (estimates). The algorithms are based on average tabular values.

2. Variability Factors

The user acknowledges that the actual nutritional value and weight of ingredients in reality may differ significantly from the calculated data. Exact figures depend on numerous uncontrollable factors:

Specifics of particular brands and food manufacturers.
Moisture level, ripeness, and freshness of ingredients.
Margins of error of household kitchen scales.
Changes in chemical composition and weight loss/gain during thermal processing.

The Platform does not guarantee absolute mathematical accuracy of the provided nutritional value or proportions.

3. Absence of Professional and Medical Guarantees

Interactive calculators and recipe texts are exclusively for informational, reference, and entertainment purposes. They do not constitute medical, dietary, nutritional, or other professional advice.

Users with food allergies, medical contraindications, diabetes, or those adhering to strict therapeutic diets must independently verify product compositions via manufacturer labels and consult with their attending physician.

4. Responsibility for Cooking Results

The Platform Administrator bears no legal or financial responsibility for unsuccessful culinary results. The user assumes all risks associated with the cooking process. The Platform does not compensate for the costs of spoiled products, wasted time, or baking/cooking issues (including improper functioning of gelling agents) arising from following recipes, using automatic proportion recalculations, or user errors.
